Les 280 habitants \u00e9taient d\u00e9pendants des pr\u00e9cipitations et des allers-retours \u00e0 la source, effectu\u00e9s en bateau et co\u00fbteux en carburant, pour s\u2019approvisionner en eau. Didier Perez, fondateur de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 PT P.I.P.A. Des mat\u00e9riaux innovants et r\u00e9sistants ont \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9s pour la fabrication en France des canalisations d\u2019eau afin de garantir la durabilit\u00e9 du syst\u00e8me pour plus de 50 ans. Des r\u00e9servoirs et un syst\u00e8me de filtration compl\u00e8tent ce syst\u00e8me pour assurer la distribution de l\u2019eau vers toutes les maisons d\u2019Urisa. La bonne coordination entre les partenaires a \u00e9t\u00e9 essentielle et a amen\u00e9 \u00e0 une r\u00e9flexion collective avec les habitants d\u2019Urisa sur la gestion des ressources naturelles en eau. Form\u00e9s \u00e0 la maintenance du r\u00e9seau, les villageois ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 form\u00e9s aux risques sanitaires li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation de l\u2019eau. En 2014, l\u2019exp\u00e9dition scientifique franco-indon\u00e9sienne <a href=\"https:\/\/en.calameo.com\/read\/0033193848cb387d83395?page=1\">Lengguru<\/a> avait rassembl\u00e9 70 scientifiques fran\u00e7ais, europ\u00e9ens, et indon\u00e9siens dans la zone.
